The Vogelhaus


In March 2020, two passionate restaurateurs, Stefanie Falkenberg and Fabian Kautz, decided to set up their own gourmet nest in the heart of Klagenfurt’s city center. They wanted to create a place that not only offers excellent cuisine, but also invites you to linger, enjoy and come back.

A few awards, lots of “repeat customers” and countless creative dishes later, Stefanie and Fabian are more motivated than ever. Their aim is to offer excellent food and drinks in a warm, stylish ambience – at the highest level, but still at fair prices. This is not about stiff etiquette, but about genuine hospitality, enjoyment and an atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome.

Space available & reservation

We offer 20 seats in the restaurant and a further 20 seats on our sunny terrace. Our guests appreciate the intimate atmosphere and the special ambience – no wonder the seats fill up quickly with reservations.
